Bonus summit on a long day Date Climbed: Jul 24, 2013
We had left at dawn at the Wiesbadener Hütte, starting a long day by traversing of the Silvrettahorn. After that we went over the Klosterpass and Winterlücke, where we had a short break. We sure needed one, because the snow on the traverse between those two saddles made it much more serious than normal.
During that break I checked our map, and noticed that the Sonntagspitze was only some 50 m higher. I couldn't resist that!
At first, from my map, I thought there was a cross on top, but there wasn't. Not even a cairn in fact, so I built one. Looking at the map again, I now saw that the cross was located on the Schwarze Wand, right next to it.
