| ericwillhite | To the lookout and beyond ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 13, 2012 | |
| After the lookout, headed west for 3.5 miles to do Stetattle Ridge (point 6495) and Mis-kai-whu Mountain (point 6728). Registers on both left by Fay Pullen in 2007. Only other entries were a Mike Torek party in 2008. Most just don't look I think or have snow. Almost 12 hours round trip. Sourdough Mountain Trip Map & Report | ||

| SummitQueen | Good late fall hike ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 3, 2009 | |
| With fresh snow along the last mile of this trail, it makes for a great (and fairly quick) day hike. As all the trail guides say, those first few miles are a butt kicker, but excellent opportunity for doing some natural history observations, as the trail winds through a variety of different forested ecosystems. Mushrooms are plentiful along the trail, but you can not pick them and most are hard to identify without spore prints. We saw bear scat up near the Sourdough Camp, where blueberries are fantastic this time of year. Lots of snow at the top, though most has probably since melted away until the real snow hits in November. Great views of many of the river drainages that radiate from this mountain's base. | ||

| gimpilator | Weird Trailhead ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 2, 2009 | |
| Alexei, Curt and I went to the lookout first and then the official summit. It was too hazy to fully appreciate the views. The highlight of the trip was when we went swimming around in a tarn up on the ridge top. | ||

| Very pretty hike. The summit views are outstanding. Got attacked by an agitated ptarmigan on the way up. | ||

| Lots of snow, and a warm day ... was down to shortsleeves and feeling pretty comfortable. Made it to just below the shelter and turned around due to the early hour of darkness. Moderately strenuous ... descent is fun on the knees. :) | ||

| Casey Bates | Good Training! ![]() Date Climbed: May 7, 2006 | |
| Awesome training hike, although a bit dull at the start. Camped out in blizzard along the summit ridge. Went up for the views, did not see a damn thing. | ||

| Long, somewhat dull hike. Steep trail, pretty meadows near top. Good panoramic views from top. Nice little cabin up there too. | ||

| It was a hump up that steep trail, but the views from the top are well worth it. Beautiful views of the glaciers, peaks, and lakes. Not a major Mt, but definately a quiet one. | ||
