Approach

Start from the Reflection Lakes Trailhead and follow the trail for less than 2 miles to Pinnacle saddle. From the saddle, head west for about 3/4 of a mile along a spur trail past Plummer and Denman peaks to the saddle between Denman and Lane.

Route Description

Once at the saddle between Denman and Lane, look for a rough trail heading off to the right and up to a gully on the southeast face of the summit block. A little more than 100 feet of scrambling up the gully gets you to the summit. The gully is very easy (3rd/ low 4th class) scrambling and only a few moves of real 4th class is required to gain the summit proper.

Downclimbing the gully is fairly straightforward.

Essential Gear

Nothing special. If the route is snow covered, an ice axe might come in handy.
