South Face couloir
Snowcamped ~8400' below the south face, headed up before dawn, summit @ 8am. Windy but not that cold. Lots of rime ice. Great views !

What a great time.
From spinning out of control on the icy drive in to watching my friend eat a Luna Bar while standing in sulfur fumes, Lassen will always be one of my favorite places to be.

fun in the winter
Long hike in with snow, snowshoe through beautiful terrain for what seems like forever, fun climbing and scrambling, summited in a whiteout...descended and got out after dark. good fun though, climbed it with two good friends of mine

Nice Hike
Hiked with my son, Curtis. Completed the trip to the summit after crossing the small ice field and scrambling across the talus-covered northern slope.
Climbed with my brother and aunt/uncle. It was HOT and trail was like a superhighway, but hike was enjoyable and great views (esp. of Mt. Shasta) from the summit.

First summit of Lassen
This was one of my "TO DOS" for this year, and my 3rd peak greater than 10,000 feet in less than 30 days. That's a new personal best for me. Of course I will be trying to improve on that.

Standard Route
Climbed with a group from UCSB taking a class on water in california. Short easy hike with lots of snow on top. great snowball fight.

Spice it up a bit
Climbed standard route. Had to break off at first chance and ascend class 3 rocks to the summit.
