| After a year of physical therapy, I started easy mountains again, so on this trip I only hiked South Arapaho and Old Baldy. It was awesome to be again in the mountains moreover, everything was flowering in the Indian Peak Wilderness | ||

| My first trip to Indian Peaks, did South, traverse and North Peak with Duchess (she was great!), it was foggy and the rock was wet, but the traverse seemed straight forwards and not too difficult. Had to lift my dog at several sections (wold not recommend it for most dogs). | |

| on May 26th: rode bicycle 22 miles from my home in Boulder to Eldora. on May 27th: rode 6 more miles to "Fourth of July" TH, and summitted both South, then North Arapaho. Then rode downhill back to Boulder. -------------------- Cycle: 6 hours up Walk: 4 hours up (for both summits) Walk: 2.5 hours down bach to TH Cycle: 2 hours down to Boulder | |

| Perfect styrafoam snow , started the traverse to north, but dry tooling on an off route slab scared my partner when we where without a rope. It only got easier from there though, I wouldn't mind going back as this was a stellar climb. | |

| Started up at 6:00AM and reached empty S.Arapaho summit at 8:27. Paused only briefly then over the traverse to empty N.Arapaho at 9:30. Stayed about 25 min. with many others heading over, back across to S.Arapaho at 10:44. Stayed a bit longer then over to "Old Baldy", back to the TH at 1:19PM.......Sweet! | |

| I was wiped because I deviated from the standard trail. I headed up a cascade after .97 miles which put me into the cirque just south of Baldy. After some steep scree and doubt, I rejoined the trail near the pass between Baldy and the Arapahos, scooted up to S. Arapaho and called it a day. | |

| Enchanted by this peak from my perch in Boulder, I had to climb it. Windy conditions on the summit and poor equipment (we all have to start somewhere right?) forced me to descend before getting North Arapaho. | |
