South Peak from Gunsight Notch

From the east side, one can reach Gunsight Notch via a Class 4 scramble with a short and exposed Class 5 move at the finish. If you view this in "Orig" and use the magnifier, you can see four climbers on some of the stouter routes. Seneca Rocks, WV-- October 2010

Thanks, Tomek. It was fun to be a humbled spectator here. Maybe in the spring I will be one of those guys. The route up the ridge itself is 5.4 but is reputed to be one of the scariest 5.4 routes you will ever find!
