South Rawah Peak, East Ridge....

South Rawah Peak, East Ridge. The line is yellow shows the approach on the Rawah and North Fork trails. The line in red shows our off-trail route up the East Ridge. Other routes from Twin Crater Lakes and/or Bench Lake are certainly possible, but a suprising number of smaller steep (sometimes cliffy) sections in the lower regions kept us in the treed areas as we attempted to gain the ridge.
