South Ridge Route on Cathedral Peak

South Ridge Route on Cathedral Peak as seen from Cathedral Lake. The route traverses below the rugged East Ridge (right) on an old mining trail and climbs up talus fields to the bottom of the cirque (center). From the bottom of the cirque, it ascends prominent steep snow gully (center-right) to the top of the South Ridge and continues along the ridge to the summit (upper right of the image). 07-10-2011
