|If I can, I always prefer to return by a different route. Back on East Mtn, I arranged with the slower-hiking fellow highpointers that they'll pick me and Jasmine at the T-junction, so we had to hurry along this picturesque ridge, but in the end we still beat them to the road by a good margin. A longer but less steep descent is often the best choice :)|

|I didn't have a camera on that trip. One of our team mates, Matty the ScoutMaster, took a nice shot of East Mtn from Potters Ponds, which is the direction you wanted:|
