| Climbed South Teton, together with Middle Teton from Lupine Meadows Trailhead, solo in 12 hours car-to-car. Climbing South Teton added about 2 hrs to the trip, but it's well worth it since the views towards Middle and Grand are outstanding and I had the peak all to myself (everyone else was only climbing Middle). The guidebook calls it 4th class, but I'd say mostly 3rd with only a few exposed moves when gaining the couloir. Luckily, there was no snow on the route. Great day in the mountains with two nice summits. | |
