Three things hindered my chances of reaching the summit. My late start, unforeseen construction traffic, and difficult navigation through icy snow-covered trail. Reached the point where you head straight uphill with Latopie Lake to your east before I had to turn around to avoid hiking in the dark. Not another soul on the trail on this unusually warm October day. Awesome views.
