Nice climb

Nice combo climb with Sahale Peak. Climbed the entire thing in boots. No need for climbing shoes if you stay on route. The moraine and gully immediately afteward can be tricky depending on snow conditions. Also, be careful on the rappel down. Our leader got lucky in that there was a snow bridge across the moraine on the way down. We would have had to find an alternate way down had it not been for the snowbridge.

Took the Easy Way Out  Sucess!

I led the 2 nd pitch of the SE Ridge route and couldn't quite do the entire ridge in boots. Wish I would have just gone for it. But with the weather and the lead, and the boots, I decided to step off the ridge and into the nice safe chimney to finish. But next time...

SE Ridge  Sucess!

Climbed Sharkfin Tower after climbing Sahale Peak from the Quien Sabe Glacier. Amazing views of the Boston Glacier on the otherside of the notch. Easy climb, with some exposure near the top.
