Southward view, from the meadows above Vetan, of the entrance of Valsavarenche: on the right the ridge includes Mont Blanc de Rhêmes, Mont Paillasse, Pointe Chamoussiere and Pointe du Ran. The ridge on the left starts with Mont Poignon, follows with Beccapiana, Punta Valletta, Mont Favret, while Gran Nomenon and Grivola are hidden in the clouds.
