Hasn't voted | You're right. I don't hike in the snow and the cold. I would have been content to hang out at the hotel. We decided to try this south facing route, but the sun wasn't out enough to melt anything (that was the next day). We were trying to salvage our vacation. Our plans had been totally scuttled by the weather. We reached the spot where this photo was taken (essentially the same spot where we all gathered during the descent on the SP gathering), and we turned around. The wind was howling and is was cold cold cold. We did manage to get some nice climbs in later that week. | | Posted Nov 19, 2008 7:15 pm |
