Spaulding Mountain from the gravel pit by the north end of Caribou Pond. The pond is only about thirteen hundred feet lower than the summit. (The summit is the farther bump, on the right.)

	Hasn't voted	That puts its elevation at about 3000 feet. I was rounding a bit aggressively; it's actually at 2730 +/- 10. For comparison, the Lakes of the Clouds in New Hampshire are at about 5000 feet - but Caribou Pond is bigger.
