| Nice hike after Thanksgiving. It is infact the steep route, first time up this trail. Probably hiked the mountain a dozen or so times over the years. It's a nice hike before Duck games. | |

| The 3rd of 4 summits this day, before heading over to the Merry Pranksters July 4 gathering. The summit was sublime and beautiful. Wildflowers were blooming. The forested approach was lush. | |

| Super fun. The scrambles were no problem, well, except on the way down. My Dad had to lift me down once. Squirrels at the top were lucky I was on a leash. Fear me, squirrels! | |

| With Luna, 3rd summit of Father's Day. Up in like 15 or 20 minutes on the shorter scrambly route. Was wondering how Luna would do on this but she jumped up every rock without fear before I could tell her no. Lots of people up top. Down in about 10-15 minutes. Would have made another lap but we had to get home for dinner. This one reminded me of a basalty Mt. Monadnock. Fun, if anyone ever is in the area and needs to add another quick 800 feet to their day, this one does the trick nicely. | |

| We lived near the end of East Amazon and ran cross country in the late 60s. We ran an old trail and bushwacked the rest, all for training. I've also hiked from the parking lot on the SW side several times since. | |

| I had fun hiking up this little peak. Near the top, you feel ike you climbed a little mountain, complete with small summit block. | |

| I've done this peak and the various hikes on it by far more times than any other place. My favorite way now is to go via the Headwaters Of The Amazon trail. | |
