| we wanted to climb spielmann some days before but we turned back down again at 2.875 meters because of the hard snow :( | |

| Did the WNW-ridge with my grilfriend Irene on a beautiful day in late october. Nice & easy climb, but some hard snow and ice on the ridge making the one or the other step tricky. Beautiful summit view to many prominent peaks of the "Hohe Tauern" main ridge like Grossglockner, Grosses Wiesbachhorn, Hohe Dock etc. and nice view down to the valley of Ferleiten. Enjoyed it very much & met only one group of three other climbers during the whole day. | |
