great day
Started from the pasture at Malga Montasio, where I had made a night camp at the parking lot. Climbed the Pipan ladder to the top of Montasio. Continued to Cima del Terrarossa and Foronon del Buinz to Rif. Corsi. Ran out of water (and there is not a drop to find up there!) and was wasted when I got to Rif. Corsi after close to 11 hours. But several mountain goats and excellent views made this a very enjoyable day.
Descending Montaz we followed Leva and Ceria-Merlone till Foronon del Buinz, strange name. The ledges are spectacular.Returning to Pecol by shortcut.A truly memorable day.

Route climbed: The ferrata Ceria Merlone from the west
From the meadow Pecol and then over the Ceria Merlone to the top. I descended by the south slopes and face directly down to the meadow Pecol.
