Hasn't voted | Thanks for noticing! Yeah, so I used to climb in the La Sportiva Barracudas. They were great but I resoled them something like 3 times and just went through them in cracks. Plus, they were a bit to soft and foot jams felt highly painful.
So, I decided on the JB's because they feel SOOO solid (stiff sole, hightop, etc.). Come to find out, not only do they jam really well, they are also very sensitive. I was doing some slabby-crimpy stuff in them on Saturday and they performed really great. It actually surprised me how much sensitivity I still had.
I would totally recommend them to anyone interested in a good crack shoe. The jury is still out though on their durability....so I can write a review after this season at Squamish.
