Combo with Chief and Papoose. Easy round trip hike on a sunny May morning. Just a little bit of snow on the Chief Mountain Trail.

Nice hike up a 4x4 road and great views from the summit! Great warm up for a Grays-Torreys from Loveland tomorrow morning.

From Papoose
CMC trip. We hiked over from Papoose. There were some shooter taking target practice at the Squaw/Papoose saddle. The were tons of orange clay pigeons on the ground. Clouds started rolling in on the way up. It was pretty windy on the summit, but the lookout tower was unlocked, and we ate lunch in there. Then we walked back down the road.

Nice Cross Country Ski Tour
From Squaw Pass Road this is a very short but nice cross country skiing tour on the mellow lookout tower road.
Blue sky day, very little wind. Linked with Papoose and Chief. Thanks to Matt M. the weather and the mountains for a great day.

Squaw Peak Road
An easy hike on a nice day. My wife and I enjoyed this relaxing outing after the previous day's climb of Saint Vrain Mountain. We followed this up with Warrior.

Up the road Solo
Was heading up high to get some peaks but realized at the Evergreen exit my boots were sitting next to the front door! What an idiot! Decided to head up and do Chief, Warrior and Squaw Mnts knowing I could do them in sneakers on this sunny day. Some nice rocks on the tops of these peaks.

Ringing in the new year with this nice trio. Papoose (although unranked) was the favorite of the three. Repeated the loop once since.

Enjoyable, easy snowshoe on broken trail. Fun little scramble to the summit at the top. A big fox was hanging out up there! Cooler peak than I'd expected.
