Stars above Dom

Stars above Dom
Very early morning (August 5, 2009, 4:15 am) at 3100 meters (slightly above Domhutte), looking towards Festigletscher. The upper part of the mountain and the glacier are lit by the full Moon. The stars are visible above Dom, especially the Pleiades star cluster. The small bright lights on the glacier are the headlights of the groups of climbers on their way up to the summit, some of them left Domhutte before 3:30 am. The weather was great on that day and many people summited Dom.
