State of Confusion
With Shaun Peters. I led the route this day for the most part. Pick your poison for the finish I guess. "Death Pitch" it was. I thought it looked simpler and was a bit tired. Lost a descent shoe on the climb! Descended barefoot back to the base of Yam and where I had tape in my pack, taped my climbing shoe to the bottom of my foot and descended the scree like clockwork. My foot was no worse for wear. Our feet are tougher than we believe they are. Guess that is how the natives survived no worries. Mixed emotions about the route. Had enough pretty good pitches to counter the bad ones, so three stars it is. Worth doing for sure in my opinion, combines the best of that part of the wall.
