When I was young (30years ago), I used to dream of becoming a climber who climb like your photo. Your photo remind me of my dream. Thanks a lot!

I'm going to cast my vote for the wider shot, although the vertical shot is good. I think the wider shot shows the big sky and the awesomeness (is that a word?) of the view. You get a sense of teetering over a ledge and just how amazing it must've been to be up there.

Nice job capturing this perspective and feeling, we all know how hard it is to capture on film what we see with our eyes.

Misha, You captured it at it's very best! After years of trips to the Sierra, and having seen thousands of photos, this one says it all...
Cheers and keep climbing!

One of the best pictures I have seen on SP. I am enamored by this mountain and this picture is so surreal. Wow

Wow! You have managed to capture the essense of High Sierra climbing with this one! The clouds, snow, exposure... it has it all. I've now added the East Ridge to my list of summer routes, but would like to do it in winter also. What time of year were you climbing in the photo? Thanks for sharing such an amazing shot!!!

My thoughts exactly! I attempted this mountain this month which from my point of view it felt more intense than class 3. But then again Fred Becky would probably disagree with me. ;-)
