Nice view  Sucess!

Long, slabby pitches to cool summit. Bring lots of QD's.

Get way to end a weekend of Fun!  Sucess!

Possible the tightest bolted climb in the city??? Especially the 5.8 pitch. The second pitch is a full 200', skipped bolts so we won't run out of draws. Wife and I had the whole rock to ourselves, great view of the City and Castle Rock!

Sinocranium  Sucess!

Climbed the route right next to the SE face of Steinfells. Mostly slabby stuff, good place to practice smearing. P4 was a 5.8+ chute that was perfect for this climber of moderate experience. The views of the City from the top are fantastic, btw.

Rookie's Intro to City of Rocks  Sucess!

Not yet the owner of climbing shoes, I barrowed a friends pair two full sizes too big and gave it a go. The climb was excellent and have a hard time going to the City without desiring another run on the the big dog. Only been back once in 2007 for a winter ascent.
