An ever-changing assortment of wildflowers can be found around Stone Mountain during most of the year. However, the Yellow Daisies, which carpet large areas of otherwise bare rock during August and September, are the most famous, even having a festival named for them. As a result, many butterflies also visit the mountain during this period, prior to their annual journey back to Mexico.

Parking Fee

I know this is a nitpick but they recently raised the park entry fee to $8.
