| Can't remember date I climbed this one, but I remember it's a great mountain. St. Mary's Falls trail to 381, bushwhacked to saddle after trail petered out. Pretty cool, great views. | ||

| St. Mary's Falls was great this time of year! I stumbled on the old cabin on descent. Took St. Mary's Falls trail, crossed the falls and went up the north slopes of Stove. Talus slope, then corkscrew to the right to reach the summit. Beautiful day! | ||

| I left the St. Marys Falls trail before reaching the falls, crossed the creek, and free-lanced my way up to the crest of the ridge. From there, I headed west to the base of the summit block, and then wound around the north side and finally approached the summit ridge from the west. Climb #2 of this peak. | ||

| What a pleasant surprise this mountain is! While the route we took was surely long and circuitous, the final summit scramble was such a joy and the views were tremendous. I love to see this area from a different vantage point. How spoiled we are to have mountains like Stove Mountain in our collective backyard! Hiking partners: Mary Ann & Cassandra. | ||

| Perfect day for hiking. Made it most the way up FR 381 then hiked to Cookstove then down to just above St Mary's and back. | ||

| Beautiful day (after some bad ones), so I ran up the trail from the Gold Camp Road parking lot. Didn't see anyone on the way up. Made the summit in just under 2 hours. A little snow on the bushwhack, but not real postholing--yet. My first ascent of this peak; it won't be my last. | ||

| Amazing views from the summit! Wish I had done this one sooner. I hiked up past St. Mary's Falls and then bushwacked from above the falls to the saddle on the south side of Cookstove. I was the first person to sign the summit log in 2006. | ||

| Went with the CMC. Excellent hike with plenty of route options including some scary technical routes. This mountain doesn't get noticed much because it blends in with the slopes of Rosa, but it has some nice character to it. St Mary's Falls is very scenic in early spring. El Paso named point #32. | ||

| Climbed with Jim, my long time friend and wedding best man, from Philly. For a low-lander east coast type who only had 2 days to acclimatize, he did great. Excellent day and a beautiful summit. We climbed Stove in the early afternoon after summiting Mt. Rosa in the morning. I had tried the St. Marys Falls route two weeks before and was turned around at the abandoned mine by a wonderful mix of snow, rain, hail and wind. | ||
