Overview and history
This is one of the most famous and classical ferrata of the Dolomites, located in the Dolomiti of Sexten.
The Cengia della SalvezzaThis path is historical, as it was used during the WWI from the italian Alpini to connect forcella Giralba with the Sentinella Pass.
It was partially digged in the rock by the Italian soldiers, leaded by Major Italo Lunelli to fortify the Cima Undici ridge, in order to prepare the attck on the Sentinella Pass
