these RR tracks go across the Great Salt Lake. Important to us was the road to the right as that road is the magic carpet that leads to the Newfoundland Mtn range and Desert Peak. The facility to the left in this picture is the pumping station, which you can read more about HERE. Another good read is HERE.

I think you were busy taking pics of that Egret on that blue lead of water. I clambered up on the tracks and took shots in both directions.
