Striped Coral-root (Corallorhiza striata)

Striped Coral-root (Corallorhiza striata)

Striped coral root is usually the largest of the coral-root orchids and is easy to recognize because of the distinctly striped sepals and petals. It grows in deep, moist forest across most of Canada and south througout much of the western and upper midwest U.S.
