This photo was taken in mid July of 2006. Great place from some gnarly lines if you have the commitment to get there.

yes, it is, this area is located not far from he cost however, the cooling effect of the surrounding ice causes this wet maritime system to produce a massive amount of snow rather than a massive amount of rain (like juneau or seattle might get). this is completely unconfirmed but i have heard rumors from those who have studied this are in depth that it is not uncommon for the are to receive at least 50' in a winter.
