Stubaier Wildspitze (3341m, center) and Daunkogel (3330m, right). As seen from North, while ascending Ruderhofspitze by ski from South. End of May 2004, still a lot a snow that year.

Mmmm

Mmmm, compared to my own pictures of the area, the two mountains seems to me Stubaier Wild Spitze (3341m, L) and Daunkogel (3330m, R). Schaufelspitze should be left of this two mountains behind that hill on your picture.

Hi Joery,

I took a good map and a ruler, and ... your'e absolutely right. Schaufelspitze is hidden by the smaller mountain on the left (Egesengrat). So what we see is Stubaier Wildspitze and Daunkogel. I have edited the caption accordingly.
