Sturgeon River Gorge

Sturgeon River Gorge

The crisp, clear amber colored falls make one immediately think of other crisp, clear amber colored liquids. This falls is actually a couple miles updtream from the main gorge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Amber color is from tannin in the leaves that fall each autumn. May 2013.
