Subalpine Vegetation

High subalpine vegetation just below the summit of Salmon Mountain. Most of the trees are subalpine larch, but some subalpine fir and whitebark pine are also mixed in. Most of the low vegetation is mountain heather and various sedges and rushes. July 2009
