Please include

a more complete picture of a Sugar Pine Tree, so it may be compared to its cousins: Eastern White Pine and Western White Pine.

Trees on the peak?

Yep, such is the nature of some county highpoints. Rogers Peak in Oregon has trees on its summit as does Lincoln county, also in Oregon. For sure it is more impressive to climb something in the Sierra's but the fact is, Sugar Pine Peak is the highest point in all of Yuba county. The hardest part of this peak is the getting to it. Don't do it on a weekday (logging trucks)
