| Cedar | Easy Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Dec 29, 2009 | |
| With all the people at the overlook, I expected more to come up to the summit considering how easy the trail was. Apparently, not many decided to take the 0.9 mile walk to the top. There was a bit of snow (up to 1' in places) which wasn't a problem on the trail. Weather was relatively warm and there was little to no snow on the sun-facing side. The view, however, wasn't too impressive considering that it was surrounded on many sides by higher mountains. | ||

| surgent | A nice fun hike ![]() Date Climbed: Nov 9, 2003 | |
| My wife and I did this a day after hiking Chiricahua. We also did a loop hike in the hoodoos of Chiricahua National Monument. The peak hike is fun and short with nice views. We came upon a tarantula on our hike up! | ||

| Sarah Simon | Sugarloaf Mountain Trail ![]() Date Climbed: Feb 18, 2008 | |
| I summited this mountain on a brilliant, sunny day while visiting Chiricahua National Monument. I especially enjoyed the combination of several inches of snow on the north side of the mountain and desert plants flourishing on the south side of the mountain. A quick, pleasant climb yielding knock-out views. Climbing partner: Husband. | ||
