Hiked up I/H Canyon, to Bighorn, and then over to Ontario. Descended via Falling Rock Ridge to the saddle and up to Sugarloaf. Descended via standard scree slope and Falling Rock Canyon. Total time was 6.5 hours. Next person up bring a new sign-in register.
Hiked 5 peaks (plus Ontario false peak) with Travis via Falling Rock Canyon (great cl.2/3 scramble.) Hit Sugarloaf, Ontario, Bighorn, Cucamonga, and Etiwanda before exiting via the Icehouse Canyon trail. We were fortunate to get great views from all five summits before the clouds enveloped the peaks.

I took Falling Rock Canyon from the Ontario Summit down to sugarloaf because of the route listed on the sierra club site. I did not enjoy the loose miserable descent, but what can you do. Number 10 of a 10 peak saga comprising Baldy, Harwood, Thunder, Timber, Telegraph, Etiwanda, Bighorn, Ontario, and Cucamonga.

Awesome exposed route. I have done the standard Falling Rock Route a few times so it was nice to do a new route to this great peak. Great views of San Antonio Canyon. Be careful, read the route write up before trying.
