Observations

From the parking area, it was 1.6 miles to northern summit via GPS. Actual walking it was 2.0 miles. Elevation gain was 1200 feet to the first saddle, then a loss of 300 feet, then 600 feet to north summit. Factoring in the return via the same route and you get over 2100 feet of elevation gained and four miles round trip. I'd suggest hitting both summits to call it good but the north summit is now posted "No trespassing" so I wouldn't recommend breaking the law to get the 15 feet to the actual summit that is inside the fence.
