Interesting angle

on Le Conte. It looks like Whitney from up this canyon. Good shot of that big south wall on Lone Pine Peak.

You have an eye these kinds of things. Now that you mentioned it, I think you're right. If you didn't know what's to the left, it does look like Whitney.

Beautiful shot!

Besides being a great picture Marc it caught my eye having hiked near Mt. Leconte last week. The two mountains are so different! Wish I could see yours' too!

Thank you very much Kathy. You were hiking near Mt. Le Conte last week? Which trail were you on? Did you go up New Army Pass and Mt. Langley or somewhere in that general area? Wait, is there another Mt Le Conte in your area?

Sorry Marc! I hiked halfway to Mt. LeConte on Alum Cave Trail in Great Smoky Mountains NP last Wednesday. Famous people have multiple namesakes I guess!
