crevassesnope, crevasses. rope + no pro = protection from the small crevasse falls we expected and encountered. I agree with you sometimes, other times crevasse falls are more of a worry than long sliders or whippers. the lip on crevasses seems to provide enough friction to make pro unnecessary. oh, you were probably reading the caption- we were unroped for the knife edge
