Sun rays mark first light,...
Sun rays mark first light, beginning another fantastic fall day in the Colorado high country. Maroon Lake's day has yet to begin, nestled far below the layered ramparts of North Maroon Peak, one of Colorado's most challenging and beautiful mountains.

Beautiful series Aaron! This one is my favorite. Great light, colors and scenery, would be pity to remove it from SP!

Probably because I have hiked around those lakes. It gives a good perspective from the top of the mountain. I think it was 2 miles via trail from one lake to the other. Great photo!
