Penelope and I climbed the Pinnacle on our day off in the Cirque of Towers in August of 2005. We found the route (East Ridge, about 5.7 the way we climbed it) a wonderful outing on solid granite. A bit short for a full day, but really good Wind River granite. Pen led all the pitches and I happily let her.
