Sundial Peak southwest slope

This is the more gradual terrain leading up to the south ridge of Sundial Peak. We took the path on the left where you can see trees above the talus, but a longer and more gradual option would take you further towards the center of this picture before looping back to the left on the south ridge. 7/30/11
