I found it after a google research, trying to find informations about one guy named Krisztián Ratiu, who did the whole traverse, and who I met in 2004 in Tatras.

Voted 10/10 | The website is the site of the Hungarian Carpathian Association, the link is one of their quarterly online publication, which includes an article about an etap of the 2004 Carpathian's arc expedition.
The guy you mention lives in Transylvania, in Baia Mare/Nagybánya, if I recall well.
I don't know him personally, just read about him in such articles.
