Thanks Gimpilator! It was certainly worth getting up early in the morning to wait for this moment, although I gotta admit it was cold out.

Indeed it was! Many of the mountains around had this same appearance. What made it even better was we were above the clouds and had virtually no major views the days before this sunrise which surprised us.
