Sunset in Chisos Basin Window | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Beautiful sunset colors in the Chisos Basin Window, Big Bend National Park, TX. Imaged in July 2005. Here's a different view (taken just a few feet from the tree in the center of this image) of the same sunset that better shows the window. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | Sajama | Fantastic! | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Sajama! I wasn't going to upload this one because it's so similar to others I took the same sunset and already uploaded. But then I saw Gangolf Haub's image and the colors were so similar. He says in his caption that some may not believe that they were the actual colors and I wanted to show him I did! | | Posted Apr 24, 2006 12:09 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I was just wondering if this is referred
to in Texas as a 'warm glow.' It certainly
appears that way to me, and North America's
desert regions are some of the most
incredible regions to explore. Warm regards
to you and your family! - Larry of AZ | | Posted Apr 11, 2008 12:02 pm |

Hasn't voted | Warm glow? Haven't heard that term used like that before, though I live in Oklahoma. I just call it the golden hour, which is pretty common among photographers. Thanks for looking and for the good wishes, Larry. Same to you! --mark d. | | Posted Apr 11, 2008 2:31 pm |
