Always great sunsets in July from the thunderstorms. Two shows, once for the clouds up where you are, second show from the light in the valley to the west.

There are definitely some positives to a less than ideal weather forecast. I got half the summits I otherwise would have, but nabbed the good ones and had a great experience all weekend. Thanks butitsadryheat. And your current profile shot from less than a mile away is stunning in itself.

Me too Kevin. Was actually my first time in this area, think I'll be back within the near year though. A few more things to do there and I really enjoyed the place.

I agree with you about how iffy weather can be a photographer's delight- though a summit or two may be sacraficed. Nice job.
