Amazing shot Larry!Last week in my factory there were two Guys from Tucson, they work for the LBT telescope that has a contract with my company.
I have seen some photo of the area were the telescope is located: Mont Graham, a reserve for native americans, it's a lovely place... I was wandering if you know the place!?

Re: Amazing shot Larry!Yes (Si). When I first came to Arizona in
1991, I drove the road over to Safford to
visit the mighty Mont Graham!
Several years later, a wildfire on Mont
Graham nearly destroyed the telescopes!
I was living in Tonto Basin at the time, and
I could see the smoke from that fire rising
EAST of Globe, Arizona.
Do you enjoy viewing in telescopes? When I
was living in Tucson (for about a year) I
took a journey up to the "Kitt Peak"
observatories. I was completely amazed!!!
For all those who enjoy "sightseeing" in
Arizona, another "cool" spot is Roper Lake
State Park, just outside of Safford below
Mont Graham. There are "geothermal springs"
there, and it feels so good to jump into
that hot water; with a nominal fee.
Yes, there's some amazing places, BOTH on
planet Earth and inside the Cosmos.
Take care, my friend Marco y SALUD !!! !!!
Larry :)
