"Swallow Rocks North Peak"
A moose on the summit of "Swallow Rocks North Peak" (Point 8580).

I don't know who was more surprised, me or the moose.

The very top of the peak is open, but is behind a huge rock, and then some trees, so you don't see it until you are right there. Neither of us knew the other was there until we were a few yards apart. She had been lying down and got up quickly and took off.
