the gate was still unlocked  Sucess!

Got a late start because I visited a museum in Rodeo earlier in the morning. So it ended up being a two hour and fifty minute ascent in daylight and a four hour descent in the dark. Typical Arizona bushwhack at its spiniest, ankle turning best.

Different route - lots of fun  Sucess!

Hiked with Michael Berry. He showed me a different route than described here. We actually went up the canyon at the north side of the range where we followed an old mining road for a while. We connected with the main ridge as we came up the slopes behind Peak 6605. Very enjoyable and scenic route and much less brush to deal with and not as steep and lose. We actually descended the route described here.

From the west  Sucess!

Climbed with Scott Peavy on an unseasonably warm day by the route listed on the page here. Took us 3:10 up and 2:20 down at a relaxed pace. Gorgeous views south into Mexico...
