What about Miedziane?

Is it often climbed in winter? What is the most popular route? That from Spiglaszowa przelecz? Cheers Tomas ;)

Re: What about Miedziane?

I guess what you say is correct. The route from Szpiglasowa Prze³êcz to Miedziane seems to be the most obvious one, not the shortest but the safest and probably the easiest one. When I've been around the only people climbing Miedziane were going via Szpiglasowa. Other possibilities were too risky, after heavy snowfalls. anyway I doubt Miedziane is often climbed.

Re: What about Miedziane?

Miedziane peak is climbed quite often though National Park restrictions. The route from Szpiaglasowa pass is the shortest and the easiest one, if not to say boring...other routes including the ridge from Opalony Wierch are surprisingly interesting and risky in any snow and icy conditions and I wouldn't recommend them for everybody, I've got some experience there ;-) Tomek
